My style of photography greatly reflects my personality as a teacher. I strive for playfulness, fun, energy, brightness, joy, and real-to-life candid moments. I love the unplanned, silly, perfectly imperfect posing. My goal is for you to leave a session with me feeling JOYFUL because you know that memories were not only made, but they were captured with love. 


Russell and I now live in Victoria, Minnesota along with our newest addition - Little Louie Lee! He is 2 and half years old and loves his big furry brother, Lago. We enjoy skiing, going to breweries, biking, pizza nights, vacations with family, and board games.

I started my life after college as a teacher. Fast forward to 2014 - I went on a blind Tinder date (yes I said Tinder!) and met my amazing husband, Russell. While learning about his photography business, I began to see that there may be a special way for me to incorporate my love for kiddos/students with my love for photography, and BOOM - Kelsey Heeter Photography was born!
